Pastor Julian Duguid from South Africa shares on Isaiah’s vision of the Lord from Isaiah 6. Julian speaks with us about the Glory of God and encourages us to see Him seated on the throne to find strength in times of trouble. Julian was the pastor of Calvary Chapel Kommetjie in South Africa before joining the teaching Faculty at Calvary Chapel Bible College.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:

“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”

Then I said, “Here am I, Send me!”

                                        -Isaiah 6:8, NKJV

If you want to visit and were not able to make it for Preview Night, we schedule tours on a weekly basis. You can book a tour by calling the Bible College office at 951-696-5944. As part of our normal Sunday Night Chapel the student body gathers to worship together and be encouraged by a speaker. For Preview Night, Jason Cunningham, the Dean of Men shared on stepping out in faith. If you missed it see the video below. Dean of Men at the Bible College, Jason Cunningham, encourages us to be open before God from Hebrews Chapter 4

“Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

-Hebrews 4:11–13, NKJV

We were blessed to have CCBC Alumni Holly Dziedzickie (A.Th. Fall 2008) share her testimony with the student body during Morning Chapel.

Holly currently serves in Cambodia at the Water of Life Girls’ Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where rescued/trafficked and at risk young women are given opportunities they would never otherwise have. They are given 3 meals a day, and the chance to gain an education, however the most important part of living at the house is the discipleship they receive: going through the bible chapter by chapter, verse by verse each morning and night, and practically applying what they learn to their lives during the day through various ministry opportunities. These opportunities range from doing the dishes to feeding orphans and teaching them about Jesus, and reaching out to other at risk/trafficked women. More information about Holly’s ministry in cambodia can be found at wateroflifeasia.com

Associate Director Andy Deane shares from Romans 8 on our theme for the Spring 2013 Semester. The fullness of the Trinity; the Father, the Son and the Spirit are for us to succeed in life spiritually.

Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Romans 8:26  Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
